The separator is configured around fluid properties, throughput and field conditions, and can be integrated with desalting, dehydration and produced-fluid treatment systems.

INLET CONDITIONING

Produced fluid is distributed and slowed at the inlet to reduce momentum fluctuations and entrained gas, creating a stable flow field for separation.

Technical Specs

The inlet device is selected for throughput, gas-liquid ratio, solids loading, and emulsion behavior, with optional degassing and erosion protection.

SEPARATION SYSTEM DESIGN

The oil-water separator uses density difference and effective retention time together with inlet conditioning, gravity settling, flow straightening, and optional coalescing internals. Horizontal or skid-mounted arrangements are configured for throughput, gas-liquid ratio, emulsion behavior, and available site space.

Independent oil and water outlets, automatic water draw-off, interface monitoring, bottom drains, and remote controls can be integrated for produced-fluid, offshore, and petrochemical separation duties.

STABLE PHASE SEPARATION + DUTY FLEXIBILITY

The separator is designed from density difference, viscosity, emulsion behavior, solids loading, and throughput. Inlet conditioning, effective retention time, gravity settling, and optional coalescing internals improve phase separation. Independent oil, water, and drain controls accommodate load changes and integrate the vessel with produced-fluid, desalting, dehydration, or wastewater systems.
