A complete crude pretreatment unit combining process vessels, high-voltage power, wash-water mixing, instruments, valves, and controls.

Crude and wash water are mixed under controlled conditions before fine droplets coalesce in the electric field and separate by gravity. Staging, drainage recycle, and bypasses are configured for the crude and unit duty.

WATER INJECTION + MIXING

Wash water and, when required, demulsifier are metered into the crude stream. Mixing transfers dissolved salts into the dispersed water phase before electrostatic treatment.

Technical Specs

Water ratio, mixing intensity, and chemical dosage are selected for crude properties and outlet targets. Static mixers, control valves, and flow interlocks can be included.

PACKAGE CONFIGURATION

The desalting and dehydration package combines process vessels, high-voltage power, electrode assemblies, wash-water mixing, instrumentation, valves, and controls. Each unit is matched to crude salt content, water content, throughput, and downstream feed requirements to form a complete two-stage process.

The package can be supplied as an integrated skid or in transportable modules, with drainage recycle, interface control, protective interlocks, and DCS / SIS communication for installation, commissioning, and long-term maintenance.

RELIABLE DESALTING + CONTINUOUS OPERATION

The package is configured around crude properties and downstream feed targets, integrating wash-water mixing, high-voltage coalescence, two-stage settling, drainage recycle, and protective controls into one continuous process. Stable control of temperature, pressure, current, and oil-water interface reduces residual salt and water through feed variation while balancing fresh-water use, oily wastewater, and maintenance changeover requirements.
